INDY500, IRL: ABC Sports is 'Leaving It To Cheever'

Beginning Thursday, March 4th, the over 50,000 daily visitors of www.abcsports.com will have the chance to ask their burning questions of reigning Indy 500 Champ, Eddie Cheever.

ABC Sports Online, AOL and ESPN.com will begin promoting several Q&A sessions with Cheever ,over the next two months, leading up to Indy.

The promotional tease be along the lines of "Leave It To Cheever: Last year's Indianapolis 500 winner and IRL veteran Eddie Cheever will be with ABC Sports Online to answer your questions and give insight into how his 1999 IRL season has been going as he begins his quest to capture his second consecutive INDY 500 this May."

When fans click on the appropriate icon, they will be able to log in their question. ABC Sports will select the 10 most interesting questions from the requests and Eddie will post his response a day later. Additionally, after logging in their question, fans can then be linked directly to www.teamcheever.com for more information on Eddie, Team Cheever and our sponsors.

The tentative schedule is as follows:
