4 March 1999

FORT WORTH-DALLAS Coors Light Silver Bullet Qualifying Day at Texas Motor Speedway will offer NASCAR fans two days of high speed for free.

For the third straight year, Coors is sponsoring Winston Cup and Busch Series qualifying at Texas Motor Speedway. First round qualifying for the Busch Series will be Thursday, March 25 with the first round for Winston Cup drivers on Friday, March 26.

Coors Brewing Company is offering adults in a five-state area free admission to the March 25-26 qualifying days. More than 60,000 race fans are expected to once again watch as drivers battle it out to make the starting field for the Saturday, March 27 Coca-Cola 300 and the Sunday, March 28 PRIMESTAR 500.

Fans will have the chance to catch all the exciting qualifying events by picking up a free voucher for general admission good for both days of qualifying.

"Coors has been an outstanding sponsor of our NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch qualifying for three years, "said speedway general manager Eddie Gossage. "This will be the largest crowd of the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup season to see the drivers pushing it as hard as they can for the pole position."

Vouchers will be available through special displays at participating Coors retailers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico and Arkansas and can be redeemed at the gate for general admission seating both days of qualifying.

Gates open at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25 and 9 a.m. Friday, March 26 for qualifying. No purchase is necessary, but consumers must be 21 years of age to redeem vouchers.
