Tracks: Nabisco Teams up with Texas Motor Speedway for Race Rebate

FORT WORTH-DALLAS A love for Oreo cookies is also the ticket to a $5 rebate on the March 27 Coca-Cola 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Race fans will now find specially marked packages of their favorite Nabisco brand cookies and crackers with the $5 rebate stickers.

"Nabisco is very happy to be teaming up with Texas Motor Speedway," said Nabisco regional director Roy Myrick. "Its great to be associated with the most brand-loyal sports fans in the world at a first-class facility."

Fans will find "The $5 Race Rebate" displays, featuring Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and specially marked packages of Oreos, Air Crisps, Nilla Wafers, Cheese Nips, Chips Ahoy! and Ritz Crackers throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and northern Louisiana.

Tickets for the Coca-Cola 300 may be purchased ahead of time at the Texas Motor Speedway ticket office or on race day at the gate. Fans must present two UPC codes per ticket to receive the special price. There is no limit on the number of tickets which may be purchased.

"We love the idea," said speedway general manager Eddie Gossage. "The Coca-Cola 300 will be one of the most exciting races of the year with Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. competing. I think thats a great incentive to pick up a few extra snacks."
