CART, BUSINESS: Walker Racing Names New Public Relations

Indianapolis, IN - Walker Racing owner Derrick Walker announced today that Kika Garcia-Concheso has been named Public Relations for Walker Racing Team, effective immediately.

Kika has ten years of public relations experience in the CART series, she worked as a personal PR for Emerson Fittipaldi until his retirement, associated with Marlboro Latin America and personal PR for Gil de Ferran for the last two years.

"We are really very happy that Kika is back again for another year and increasing her responsibilities to handle all of our team PR for drivers Naoki Hattori and Gil de Ferran. Maintaining the continuity is very important, and we are glad she has accepted the position to manage the team's PR responsibilities" said Derrick Walker.

Michael Knight, who previously held this position, is still very much involved in the program, and now specifically manages Valvoline's overall special PR needs in all of the racing series they are involved, in which includes the Cart FedEx Championship Series.
