IRL: Pennzoil Panther Driver Scott Goodyear Sets Pace at WDW Speedway

Orlando -- Pennzoil Panther Racing and driver Scott Goodyear turned the fastest lap of the second Pep Boys Indy Racing League open test at Walt Disney World Speedway last week. Goodyear pushed the 1999 G Force/Aurora/Goodyear to a top lap of 21.19 seconds. For a full story on the test, see Goodyear Fastest at WDW Open Test.

On Saturday, Goodyear and the "Pack" pushed the Pennzoil yellow car to an even faster 21.158 second lap and a speed of over 170 mph during private testing. Rain precluded any private testing yesterday, but the "Pack" has high hopes for its final day of testing at Walt Disney World Speedway today.
