Mustang Museum to Host Bright Light City Cruise 2

350 Classic and Contemporary Mustangs to Gallop Through the Streets of Las Vegas FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dearborn, Michigan, September 9, 1998 - The Mustang Museum has announced it will sponsor the BRIGHT LIGHT CITY CRUISE 2 on November 1, 1998, as a major pre-activity to the Special Equipment Manufacturers Association Convention in Las Vegas. The event is estimated to bring together over 350 Classic and Contemporary Mustangs from all over North America for a cruise from the Excalibur Hotel to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. After lapping the Las Vegas Motor Speedway's track, participants will be invited to take part in an all day car show. Both cruise participants and the general public will be invited to meet several Hollywood and sports celebrities, senior members of Ford Motor Company, race team owners and drivers, as well as motorsports legends Carroll Shelby, Parnelli Jones, Bob Bondurant, Steve Saleen, and Jack Roush. National media coverage of this event will appear in several enthusiast publications and the electronic media.
