Mark Green is carrying a special paint scheme on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the MBNA Platinum 200 NASCAR Busch Series race at Dover Downs International Speedway to commemorate the addition of Timber Wolf Long Cut Straight to the Timber Wolf product line.
The new colors, maroon with black and chrome, made its debut on the car in last week's Carquest Auto Parts 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Timber Wolf Long Cut Straight colors will also be used on the No. 37 car during next week's Hardee's 200 at Richmond International Raceway.
The familiar blue and green colors of Timber Wolf Cool Wintergreen will return to the No. 37 Chevrolet in the Pikes Peak 250 at Pikes Peak International Raceway on June 14
Qualifying efforts for Mark Green and the Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team continue to improve. In the past three races, Green's average starting position has been seventh.
"The biggest reason is the improved communication between Kenneth (Campbell, crew chief) and myself," said Green. "We have been working together for 12 races now.
"It takes time for a driver and crew chief to work as a team," added Green. "I know what I want in a car, but I need to be able to relay it to Kenneth so he can understand my needs. We communicate with each other much better now than in the beginning of the year and it shows."
The MBNA Platinum 200 is Mark Green's 55th career NASCAR Busch Series start.
On June 4, Mark Green will sign autographs and greet fans from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Third Annual RACE Fan Night & Auction at Bill Talley Ford in Richmond, Virginia. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Central Virginia Chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Association.
De-Lux Dairy Markets, a chain of convenience stores with five locations in Delaware, is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the MBNA Platinum 200 at Dover Downs International Speedway.
