Brazilian Racing News: F-Chevrolet

The first round of the 1998 F-Chevrolet Championship was held this
Sunday in Interlagos at the Grand Prix circuit.

Karlos Czar Fernandes was the winner, followed by Nilton Rossoni,
Thiago Meneghel, Angelo Seraphim and Marcelo Carneiro.

Karlos is in F-Chevrolet since 1997, after leaving go-karts, where he
conquered more than 20 championships.  His style fits perfectly the
F-Chevrolet, where you can slide the car a bit more than in F-3.
Nilton Rossoni, Brazilian driver racing in Barber Dodge and
F-Chevrolet, had a good weekend and nearly got his first victory in
the championship.

It is expected that the new generation will get the best results this
year, as the older ones left to Sudam F-3, like 1997 champion Duda
Pamplona.
