IRL: The Indy Racing League Crew Heads West

The Indy Racing League Crew is making it's first trip to the Valley of the Sun for the Pep Boys Indy Racing League Dura-Lube 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. Members of the Indy Racing League Crew will have an information booth at the track on March 20th through the 22nd.The Indy Racing League Crew will be taking votes at the booth for the 1998 Indy Racing League Crew Most Popular Driver Award. Voting for the award began in January at the Indy 200 at Walt Disney World and will conclude at the Pep Boys Indy Racing League Las Vegas 500K season finale on October 10th. The award allows fans of the Pep Boys Indy Racing League to voice their opinion of who their favorite driver is. 1990 and 1997 Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk won the 1997 Most Popular Driver Award.
The Indy Racing League Crew will also have membership information at their booth at Phoenix International Raceway. The Indy Racing League Crew is a fan organization which supports the Pep Boys Indy Racing League. Annual individual memberships begin at $20 while family memberships begin at $25.
