Forsythe Racing Offers Audio Internet Coverage of CART Events
2 March 1998
The Forsythe Racing Team is proud to announce another season of its groundbreaking live-simulcast website. For every North American event of the CART FedEx Championship Series, Forsythe Racing will provide LIVE timing and scoring, LIVE in-car audio for Greg Moore and Patrick Carpentier, up to the minute news, dozens of same-day photographs and audio interviews with drivers, crew and fans. This coverage begins with the first practice session on Friday morning and continues for every CART session throughout the weekend. The same live audio will be available for the Kool/Toyota Atlantic Championship with drivers Alex Tagliani and Lee Bentham providing the in-car audio.

Forsythe Racing Driver, Greg Moore
Dismissing Greg's chances, the TV director began focusing on other battles down in the field. Simulcast fans heard Brunetti come back on the radio with 10 laps remaining to tell Greg "fuel is no problem now, you're good to go full throttle". Greg immediately began closing on Zanardi, 20 seconds ahead, at almost two seconds a lap. Fans watching the live timing and scoring were aware of the building drama, but the TV commentators were not.
On the final lap, the TV suddenly took notice of Moore's challenge, but never explained the phantom motor problem. The Forsythe Racing website simulcast brought fans into the heat of the battle with an enhanced knowledge of actual events.
To access the Homestead simulcast, simply go to www.Forsythe-Racing.com beginning Friday morning, March 13th. All you need is fairly recent browser (Java capability is desirable but not necessary) and a free Real Audio player.
