Last Saturday, Bobby Labonte and brother Terry captured the only two positions up for grabs, one and two, during first-round qualifying for the Feb. 15 Daytona 500. The younger Labonte, Bobby, grabbed the pole position in his No. 18 Interstate Batteries Pontiac with a lap of 192.415. Two-time NASCAR Winston Cup champion Terry Labonte, ran a lap of 192.127 mph in his No. 5 Kellogg's Chevrolet, to clock the second quickest time of the 55 cars to attempt qualifying runs.

Each Labonte will start from the pole for Thursday's two 50-lap Gatorade 125-Mile Qualifying Races, which will set positions 3-30 for the Daytona 500. The first Gatorade 125 is set to receive the green flag at 12:30 p.m.

The remainder of the Daytona 500 field will be determined by speeds set during three rounds of qualifying and/or selected provisionals.

The 40th Annual Daytona 500, which will be carried live by CBS Sports and MRN Radio, will take the green flag Sunday at 12:15 p.m.
