Park Fastest in Second-Round Qualifying for Daytona 500

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- During Monday's Bud Beer Second-Round Qualifying, Steve Park was the fastest of 14 cars that attempted to better the time they posted during Bud Pole Qualifying last Saturday. Park drove his No. 1 Pennzoil Chevrolet to a time of 47.494 seconds, for an average speed of 189.498 mph.

Each Labonte will start from the pole for Thursday's two 50-lap Gatorade 125-Mile Qualifying Races, which will set positions 3-30 for the Daytona 500. The first Gatorade 125 is set to receive the green flag at 12:30 p.m.
The remainder of the Daytona 500 field will be determined by speeds set during three rounds of qualifying and/or selected provisionals.
The 40th Annual Daytona 500, which will be carried live by CBS Sports and MRN Radio, will take the green flag Sunday at 12:15 p.m.
