Miguel Duhamel Leads MBNA Superbike Bonus List

R97137 October 27, 1997 For Immediate Release DUHAMEL LEADS MBNA SUPERBIKE BONUS LIST WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Smokin' Joe's Honda rider Miguel Duhamel has collected the largest season-end payout from the American Motorcyclist Association MBNA Superbike Series championship bonus. Duhamel, who finished second overall with four wins and three podium finishes in 1997, took home $7,000 paid out by series title sponsor MBNA, a leader in credit card sports marketing. MBNA will remain as the series title sponsor for the 1998 Superbike season. The bonuses are awarded on points accumulated during the last four races of the 1997 season.
