Melling Tests at Daytona International Speedway

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Melling Racing and Lake Speed will test a new NASCAR
Winston Cup Ford Taurus on Monday and Tuesday of this week at Daytona 
International Speedway in preparation for Speedweeks 1998 next February. 

"We had an extra test session so we wanted to use the opportunity to take the 
Taurus to the race track instead of just looking at it in the shop," 
explained the driver of the No. 9 Ford which will be sponsored by Cartoon 
Network next season. "You can look at it in the shop all you want, but you 
don't learn a whole lot.
