DARLINGTON, SC - Luxaire pilot Glenn Allen recorded another strong weekend at
"The Track To Tough To Tame," Darlington Raceway, on Saturday. With a lucky
break somewhere during the race, Allen's 11th place finish could have been
even stronger.

The weekend started out on a high note as Allen continued to display his
improved talent at qualifying. Allen was able to pick up 7/10's of a second
from practice to qualifying and claimed the 5th starting spot. Among all
Busch Grand National regulars, Allen was the fastest in qualifying.

As the race began on Saturday afternoon, Allen kept his car inside the top
ten for the majority of the first half of the race. During a long green flag
run, his car developed a loose condition and he dropped back to 18th
position. With the help of two quick pit stops and some adjustments from the
crew, Allen was able to move back to 13th place on the last restart. From
there Allen fought his way through lapped traffic and up to 11th position as
the checkered flag signaled the end of the race.

"We really wanted that 10th spot and with about 5 more laps I know we could
have been there," Allen said. "What we have to realize is we had another
awesome weekend, a great qualifying effort, a solid race, and a strong
finish. We are extremely pleased with the weekend."

Winston Cup regular, Jeff Burton claimed the victory by holding off Mike
McLaughlin by 5.011 seconds. Dick Trickle, Bobby Labonte, and Steve Park
rounded out the top five. The race was run at an average speed of 118.080 mph
with 5 cautions for 27 laps.

The Busch Series now heads to one of Allen's favorite tracks, Richmond
International Raceway. Action begins Friday at 7:40pm EDT. ESPN and MRN will
provide live broadcasting.
