A Note from Martinsville Speedway

Dear Race Fan,

Martinsville Speedway is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the
Hanes 250/500 weekend, September 26-28. If you do not have your
tickets for the Hanes 500 Winston Cup race on Sunday, September 28 or
tickets for the Hanes 250 Craftsman Truck Series race on Saturday,
September 27, now is the time to order.

Our phone lines have been very busy for the past two weeks since 1998
tickets went on sale August 18. The rush has now slowed and the ticket
office is easier to reach. We still have good seats available in the
concrete sections along the front straightaway and in turns one and
two for the Winston Cup race. All seats are unreserved for the Hanes
250 Craftsman Truck Series race.

Call the ticket office at (540) 956-3151 for tickets from 9 a.m. till
noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The ticket office
also will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on each Saturday and 1
p.m. to 4 p.m. each Sunday until the race.
