John Deere Continues Chad Little NASCAR Winston Cup Sponsorship

MOLINE, IL - John Deere will remain as the sponsor of the No. 97
Winston Cup team and driver Chad Little for 1998 and beyond.

The multi-year agreement was struck between Deere and Company and
Roush Racing, which recently acquired interest in the team owned by
Mark Rypien Motorsports.

Roush Racing has taken over operation of the team, which will remain
based in Mooresville, NC, and plans to continue campaigning the
Pontiac Grand Prix for the rest of the 1997 season.

Deere and Company joined the NASCAR sponsorship ranks with Mark Rypien
Motorsports' 1996 Busch Series Grand National Division team. The
combination moved to Winston Cup competition in 1997.
