THE RACE: Michigan Speedway is a 2-mile asphalt oval with 18 degrees
banking in all four turns. The length of the frontsretch is 3,600 feet and
the length of the backstretch is 2,242 feet. Michigan speedway has hosted
the Detroit Gasket 200 since 1992.
