High Opportunity Petroleum Enterprises Inc., one of the nation's fastest growing companies, opened for business to the public March 10, 1997. HOPE is marketing a Universal Prepaid Fuel Card and a Revolutionary HOPE Fuel Enhancer containing Enviromax Plus, endorsed by racing legend and three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Johnny Rutherford. Through network marketing, in less than two months HOPE has grown to almost 40,000 Independent Representatives. "It is an honor to be associated with the integrity and excitement of the Indianapolis 500 and Sam Schmidt," said HOPE owner Jeff Walker. "Where else can you find the partnership of two rookies with comparable winning possibilities?" added fellow HOPE owner Mark Manuel. "Either way you look at this joint venture, it is the ride of a lifetime." HOPE will be sponsoring the No. 16 HOPE/Blueprint Racing Dallara driven by Indy Racing League rookie Sam Schmidt, one of the nation's top young open wheel racers. Schmidt, a leading candidate for this year's Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year award, qualified seventh and finished 10th in his Indy Racing League debut at the Phoenix 200 in March. "This is a really beneficial relationship in more ways than one. First, it enables Blueprint Racing to take the No. 16 team effort one step further by purchasing some equipment that was sorely needed. Also, it ensures that we can make a commitment the IRL for the rest of the 1996-97 season," noted HOPE/Blueprint Racing driver Sam Schmidt. "But equally important is the ability for myself and Blueprint Racing to be involved with a company as dynamic and goal-oriented as HOPE." "When two well-functioning teams combine their efforts in the arena of the Indy Racing League," concluded HOPE owner Greg Manuel, "You have all the components of a winner."
