The #8 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that Jeff Green will utilize at Talladega
Superspeedway is the same car that he utilized at Daytona Speedway
earlier this year qualifying sixth, finishing 14th, and leading five
laps during the race. The car was built during the off season.

Tire carrier Fran Cipriano had his right foot broken in three
locations when it was run over by a fellow competitor during routine
yellow flag pit stops at the NASCAR Busch Series race on Saturday
night, April 19, at Nashville Speedway. Cipriano was transported by
Vanderbilt Hospital and held overnight. He returned to Charlotte on
Sunday to recuperate. Doctors have not concluded if surgery will be
necessary.

Jeff and Michelle Green will be on an extended road trip for two weeks
combining racing with visiting friends and relatives in Owensboro,
KY. Their complicated schedule is as follows: 4/16 Charlotte to
Owensboro (home to hometown); 4/17 Owensboro to Nashville (hometown to
race location); 4/19 Nashville to Owensboro (race location to
hometown); 4/23 Owensboro to Talladega (hometown to race location);
4/26 Talladega to Birmingham (to play in golf tournament); 4/28
Birmingham to Owensboro (golf tournament to hometown); 4/30 Owensboro
to Charlotte (hometown to home).

While in Owensboro this past week Green went fishing with two high
school friends. Unfortunately in eight hours of fishing, Green only
caught one fish. Michelle was able to visit with old friends at a
sorority party.
