PAI Announces Multi-Lingual Design Software Contract with Renault
Renault V.I. Awards Contract to PAI for Software Design ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 2 -- Pacific Animated Imaging (PAI) Corporation , the Annapolis-based developer of interactive multimedia software solutions, announced today that Renault V.I., the French Truck and auto maker, has chosen PAI to design multilingual software for use in a sophisticated vehicle management and control system. This system is an extension of the Mack Truck Corporation's "InfoMax," which PAI earlier designed and developed for Mack. The Renault contract is for European applications, and it directly addresses the universal need to insure that internal combustion engines operate with maximum efficiency, for reasons of economy and environmental protection. Phase I of the contract, in the amount of $26,000, is for the design of the multilingual software in eight languages. During Phase II, which will be awarded upon successful completion of the first Phase, the selected contractor will be involved in the software development and production. PAI's management expressed confidence that this work for Renault will continue and expand in scope.
