Sumitomo Buys U.K. Ford Dealership

Nikkei English News reports that Sumitomo Corporation acquired a U.K. auto dealership that sells Ford cars and Iveco Ford trucks. The dealership has three outlets in southeastern England, including showrooms in Dover and Canterbury, and sells about 2,500 Ford and Iveco vehicles annually. Sumitomo plans to increase the dealership's annual sales to 3,000 vehicles in two years. With the new purchase, Sumitomo now owns seven U.K. auto dealerships.
