Audi of America Announces November Sales

Audi Records Best November in a Decade

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 3 -- Audi of America,
Inc. reported U.S.  sales of 2,171 for the month of November 1996,
representing a 33.9 percent increase over the same month last year
when sales were 1,621.

It was the best November sales mark recorded by Audi in the U.S. since
1986.

Audi has demonstrated this kind of year-over-previous-year sales
increase for 23 of the last 24 months.

For the year, Audi is up 51.6 percent over 1995.  Year-to-date, the
German luxury carmaker has sold 24,072 new cars compared to 1995's
mark of 15,879.

Audi continues to be the fastest-growing luxury passenger car
franchise in the U.S.
