Toyota To Come Out With An Electric RAV4 For 1998 Model Year

Slated for fleet sales, the popular and award winning Toyota RAV4 will become available next fall as an electric vehicle. It will be a four-door powered by nickel-metal-hydride batteries and have a 95 mile range. Toyota plans to build about 30 RAV4 EVs per month for sale in California and Japan.
