Daewoo Motors To Enter North America With The Lanos 4-Door

In 1998 Daewoo Motor Co, Seoul. Korea will introduce their four-door Lanos family sedan to the North American market. The Lanos is aimed at the Hyundai, Toyota Tercel customer. Daewoo expects to produce 300,000 of the cars per year. The Lanos will be powered by a 1.5 liter four cylinder motor at 96 hp and looks a bit like the Ford Escort.
