Honda's New Sports-Utility Vehicle for Japan

Comline reports that Honda Motor has introduced a new 2000 cc sports-utility vehicle, the S-MX. The company has targeted the new SUV at young drivers and hopes that its fourth new sports-utility model can maintain the popularity that previous models like the Oddessey cashed in on.

The fuel tank in the new S-MX is located below the floor of the cab, making for a roomier interior. The front and rear seats are bench style, and approach double bed size when folded down. The car includes driver and passenger-side airbags as standard equipment.
