Because Detroit is home base for so many car makers, movers and shakers, their January Auto Show has historically eclipsed the long-running L.A. Auto Show in "exclusive" model debuts. Nonetheless, the L.A. Show doesn't take this state of affairs sitting down and has lined up an impressive array of new product introductions. After all, it IS Los Angeles . . . car culture capital of the U.S.
