Greater Los Angeles Auto Shows Fax-On-Demand Newsline Open 24 Hours
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 8 -- The 1997 Greater Los Angeles
Auto Show begins a 24-hour fax-on-demand Newsline service today
providing up-to-the- minute information for media and industry
executives. Callers within the United States may dial toll-free
888-LA AUTO 9 (888-522-8869) to receive instantaneous responses.
International callers also can access the Newsline by dialing
201-946-0142.
Documents available on the L.A. Auto Show Newsline include a
general information fact sheet, a list of services available in the
Media Center, media credential request form, the new vehicle
introduction list, a press conference schedule and travel information.
The news conference schedules and new model introductions will be
updated periodically. All selected documents are immediately sent to
the callers facsimile.
A number of news conference requests have already been received
for the two Media Days on January 2 and 3, which precede the Show's
public days of January 4 through 12 Specific manufacturer news
conference times have not yet been finalized, but a preliminary
schedule will be announced shortly.
The Greater Los Angeles Auto Show features more than 1,000 new
cars, trucks, vans, sport utility and alternative-fueled vehicles in
addition to a 100,000 square-foot aftermarket and motorsports
exhibition during its eleven days at the Los Angeles Convention
Center.
