CAW Continues to Bargain with GM Canada

Canada NewsWire reported that contract talks between the Canadian Auto Workers union and General Motors of Canada continue.

CAW president Buzz Hargrove said that reports that talks between the CAW and GM had broken off were incorrect. He said, "although progress is slow, the negotiations are continuing as we try to reach a settlement before the strike deadline of Wednesday, October 2 at 11:59 p.m."
