Oldsmobile Sets Silhouette Minivan Prices

LANSING, Mich., Sept. 19 -- Minivan buyers can now afford
a vehicle offering high-level standard content and a pleasing blend of
practical design and luxury. Oldsmobile set the base price of its
Silhouette at $22,245.00, including destination charge. The three-door
regular wheel base model features step-up standard content including
air conditioner with an integrated pollen filtration system, battery
run down protection, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, fog lamps,
luggage rack, power door locks, power windows including the rear
quarter vents, and more.

"The Silhouette is perfect for people who like the idea of personal
space and practical luxury in a family vehicle," said Oldsmobile
Silhouette brand manager, Mike McEnaney. "Combine this all-new design,
which can include a driver's-side sliding passenger door, with the
standard up-level features on all our models and the Silhouette
becomes a real competitor in the minivan segment."

The Silhouette is also offered as GL and GLS models. At the GLS level,
Silhouette is priced below a similarly equipped Dodge Caravan ES or
Chrysler Town and Country LX. Silhouette's GLS also includes the
industry exclusive power automatic sliding door and a power passenger
seat -- features unavailable on both Chrysler models.

All prices include the $570 destination charge. Silhouettes will be
available in dealer showrooms late this fall.
