Porsche Announces No Price Increase on 1997 Models; Boxster
Price Revealed

RENO, Nev., Sept. 18 -- Porsche Cars North America,
Inc. (PCNA) today announced that prices for 1997 Porsche 911 models
are unchanged from 1996. At the same time, PCNA revealed the price for
the much anticipated 1997 Porsche Boxster, which will begin arriving
in dealer showrooms at the first of the year.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the 1997 Porsche 911
model line include the Carrera Coupe, $63,750; Carrera Targa, $70,750;
Carrera Cabriolet, $73,000; Carrera 4S Coupe, $73,000; Carrera 4
Cabriolet, $78,350, and 911 Turbo Coupe, $105,000. The MSRP for the
1997 Porsche Boxster is $39,980.

PCNA also announced that parts prices will not increase at this time.
