NTT/Mazda Develop Multimedia Car

Comline has reported that NTT (Nippon Telegraph) and Mazda Motor have developed a multimedia vehicle for the small office/home office market. Based on Mazda's Bongo Friendly, the vehicle allows LAN access through digital cellular phones, comes equipped with a PC and a fax machine, and facilitates transmission of voice, fax, data and image information. The vehicle is powered by a gas engine, but also runs off electricity or solar cells to promise guaranteed mobility.
