Ford Recalls 8,000 Fiesta and Courier Models in Belgium

Reuters has reported that Ford Motor Company of Belgium announced the recall of 8000 Fiestas and Couriers built between June 1995 and July 1996. The company has made the recall to adjust the clutch and brake hydraulic systems.

Remarking on the recall, a Ford spokesman said "In Belgium it involves 8,000 cars, but some of them are still in stock." He added "It's a preventive measure, there has been no problem." Ford Belgium said some owners had noticed that the brake pedal had to be pushed in further than expected to activate the brakes.
