Honda's Consolidated Net Income to Hit 11-Year High

09/05/96

Comline reported that expectations for Honda's fiscal year that ends in March 1997 are high. Analysts forecast a consolidated net income of 160 billion yen, based on the popularity of the company's RV in Japan and the benefits of better yen-dollar rates on export profits. Honda hit their last high 11 years ago, at 146.5 billion yen.
