1997 Dodge Dakota Gets Early delivery Debut

08/26/96

Everyone knows the hottest sales segment in autodom is the pickup market. The battle between the big three auto/truck makers gets a bit more fierce as Dodge starts shipping their new Dakota pickups to dealer this week. Prices for the new units range from $13,325 to $20,470--a bit higher than the Ford Ranger which has a Munroney sticker for the base model of $11,380. The Chevrolet S10 starts at $12,063.
