GMAC in Joint Venture to Finance Thai Car Sales

Reuters has reported that General Motors Acceptance Corporation has entered a joint venture with Thailand's Phra Nakorn Automobile Ltd. Together the corporations will finance retail car purchases in Thailand.

General Acceptance Ltd in Thailand will be GMAC's third largest Asian operation. It's scheduled to open in Bangkok by the end of l996, and will offer lending services through GM and non-GM dealerships.
