GM Increases Third Quarter Production Forecast

Reuters reported that GM has increased its third quarter production forecast for North America by 27,000 cars and 8,000 trucks, for a total of 1,240,000 vehicles. In the third quarter of 1995, GM produced 1,178,000 vehicles in North America. The automaker made a total of 310,000 vehicles in July in North America, including 169,000 cars and 141,000 trucks.
