New Car Sales For 1996 Going Strong...Maybe Bigger in '97

We'll have a recue of the 1997 Buick Regal and Park Avenue later this week and in the meantime here's what's on the production schedule for 1997:

• Saturn will have a new two-door coupe.
• GM will have three new minivans to sell including the Chevy Venture.
• Cadillac will bring out the Opel based Catera.
• Pontiac has a newly designed Grand Prix.
• Ford will announce the new Expedition sport ute.
• Dodge has a new Dakota pickup.
• Infiniti has an all new Q45.
• Honda is coming out with a new Prelude.
• Audi and Volvo are gearing up for the intro of new sporty models.
