First Viper GTS Coupes Head For Dealer Showrooms

The first of 1700 Dodge Viper Coupes of the type that paced the Indy 500 this year are on car carriers on their way to dealer showrooms. The $73,000 two seater weighs 70 pounds less than the convertible which debuted in 1992. Also available will a GTS racing coupe of the type entered in next weeks 24 hours of LeMans, and this car will retail for $200,000. A third hop up variant with 670 HP will have a price tag of $27,000.
