Hyundai Hopes New Ads Will Cure Sales Slump

Hyundai Motors is launching a $25 million ad campaign designed to pull it out of its sales tailspin and reverse its tarnished image. The new commercials will concentrate on a new lease deal and theme the new Elantra as being "more car" for the money. The ads get away from image and concentrate on retail selling and will get away from the "gee whiz...we're the new kid on the block" theme of old. The brands sales are down 17% and is struggling with an image perception of being loq quality.
