Dodge City Production Line Back to Work
02/21/96
The Associated Press reported that striking United Auto Workers at Chrysler's Dodge City plant went back to work Tuesday, ending the wildcat strike they started Saturday. The workers walked off the line after two union leaders were fired for union activism. 1,800 out of 3,100 employees struck. Reuters reported that Chrysler estimates it lost 1,800 of its extremely popular best-selling Dodge Ram and Dakota light-duty pickups.
