Week in Review — December 7th

What a week on Cars & Bids! We happily recorded some excellent sales and hosted some great bidding wars, ending some great auctions with strong values. Probably my favorite auction of the week was a 1977 Porsche 911 Coupe that was extensively modified for racing, resulting in a truly professional build that looked fantastic. This car sold for an impressive $128,500, showing that our audience recognizes a special and exciting car like this one. I was also happy to see a 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 Convertible sell for an impressive $160,000, which is a serious result for a very serious car that boasts excellent power and performance, along with head-turning crazy exotic styling. Of course, I also have to note the $51,000 result for the Smart Crossblade; this was our fifth Crossblade auction, and I remained stunned at the reception this car receives whenever one pops up on Cars & Bids.

As always, we have more great auctions ending this week. Although we have a few very special modern exotics – a Ferrari GTC4Lusso, a Dodge Demon 170, and a Nissan GTR T-Spec – we're also loaded with other interesting and special cars, including a rare civilian-spec Toyota Mega Cruiser. These Mega Cruiser models are so special and exciting, and I'm thrilled whenever we see one on Cars & Bids; this one represents our seventh Mega Cruiser auction, and I'm looking forward to a strong result. We're also auctioning a 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena this week with a factory gated 6-speed manual transmission, along with a lovely 997.2 Porsche 911 GTS Cabriolet and a nice Hummer H1 Wagon.
