Portland's First Craft Chocolate Festival Debuts This October
PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 16, 2025 -- Ranger Chocolate Co. is thrilled to announce the inaugural Portland Craft Chocolate Festival, a three-day celebration showcasing the region's finest bean-to-bar makers, chocolatiers, and artisans. Taking place October 3–5, 2025 at Portland's historic Olympic Mills building (107 SE Washington St, Portland, OR 97214), the festival will feature tastings, pairings, demonstrations, and engaging conversations designed to connect chocolate lovers with the people behind the craft.
"Portland has a vibrant craft chocolate scene, and this festival is an opportunity to bring together the best makers, innovators, and enthusiasts to celebrate the artistry and passion behind chocolate," said George Domurot, Founder & CEO of Ranger Chocolate Co. and headline sponsor of the event. "We want to bring a positive and fun event to our community — one that honors the farmers who grow cacao, the makers who transform it, and the partners who create new experiences that elevate how we enjoy it."
Highlights include a VIP Kickoff Party on Friday, October 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. — a special evening to meet the makers, enjoy small bites, Straightaway Cocktails, NA beverages by Still/Spark, and more. The celebration continues with the Saturday and Sunday Market, where more than 30 makers will showcase their creations through tastings, shopping, and community connections. The Market will be open Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The first 200 attendees will receive complimentary festival swag bags (while supplies last), and children 8 and under are free with an adult. Special programming will also feature maker spotlights, private sessions, and media features throughout the weekend.
The Portland Craft Chocolate Festival is set to become an annual tradition, celebrating ethical sourcing, sustainability, and the creativity of Portland's food culture. The event welcomes chocolate lovers, food enthusiasts, families, and community members alike. We are grateful for the warm reception from the city and community, with special thanks to Prosper Portland and PNC Bank for their support.
