POLLO CAMPERO RALLIES AROUND ST. JUDE FOR 7TH STRAIGHT YEAR IN HONOR OF CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Launching in Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, $3 of every cup sold through Oct. 31 at locations nationwide will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
DALLAS, Sept. 8, 2025 -- Pollo Campero, the Guatemalan-born fast-casual restaurant specializing in uniquely flavorful chicken, is partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® for the seventh consecutive year, donating $3 of every limited-edition commemorative St. Jude Care Cup sold Sept. 1 through Oct. 31 in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
At Pollo Campero locations nationwide, guests who purchase the exclusive 32-ounce cup for $5 not only advance treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases but also enjoy free refills for a year of Campero beverage favorites, including aguas frescas, horchatas and fountain drinks.
"Over the past six years, with the support of our customers and team members, Pollo Campero has donated more than $400,000 to benefit St. Jude and its work to find cures for childhood cancer. It means the world to invite our guests to join us in supporting this deserving cause," said Pollo Campero Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director Luis Javier Rodas. "This initiative reflects the values of Pollo Campero and our parent company, Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI) — especially our deep sense of responsibility to support the communities we serve. To express our gratitude to Pollo Campero customers who purchase a St. Jude Care Cup, we are proud to offer free refills for one year."
Additionally, Pollo Campero team members will participate in St. Jude childhood cancer walks in Dallas (Sept. 20) and Miami (Sept. 27). At both charity events, Pollo Campero will offer samples and coupons for free individual meals at local Pollo Campero locations and the opportunity to meet the company mascot, Pollito.
"We're incredibly grateful to Pollo Campero and its dedicated employees for walking in stride with St. Jude for the seventh year," said Steve Froehlich, Chief Revenue Officer for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "We are also deeply grateful to the customers who are choosing to support St. Jude through their purchases of this heartfelt artwork. Their generosity, combined with Pollo Campero's continued partnership, helps ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live."
By uniting its customers, team members and communities nationwide, Pollo Campero is helping St. Jude move closer to its goal of ensuring that no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food so families can focus on being there for their child.
