InventHelp Inventor Develops Strong Locking Mechanism for Newer Trailers (TLS-905)
PITTSBURGH, Aug. 25, 2025 -- "My trailer was stolen in the past and I wanted to create an improved lock to prevent this from happening again," said an inventor, from Pace, Fla., "so I invented the TRAILER LOCK. My secure design offers an alternative to flimsy pin-type locks that can be pried or broken off by a thief."
The invention provides an improved way to protect a parked trailer against theft. In doing so, it would not be susceptible to being dislodged and removed by a criminal using a crowbar and/or hammer. As a result, it increases security, and it offers an alternative to existing pin-type locks. The invention features a durable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for anyone with a newer-style trailer, boaters, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Tallahassee sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
