NEW YORK, Aug. 6, 2025 -- The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA) is proud to announce the appointment of Eleanor Gulla as its new Chairwoman. Gulla, an accomplished automotive executive, community leader, and advocate for the next generation of dealers, brings deep industry experience and a lifelong dedication to her family's legacy.
A Board Member of GNYADA since 2018, Gulla has served as Vice Chairwoman and Chair of the Employee Relations Plan Committee. Eleanor was a key member of an Ad Hoc committee to address the growing challenges around direct sales and broker practices.
In addition to her role with GNYADA, Gulla is a founding member of Next Gen – National Automotive Dealers Association, an organization that mentors and prepares the next generation of automotive dealers and general managers through education, advocacy, and networking.
Gulla is Managing Partner at Larchmont Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, a family-owned dealership founded by her father, Alfredo Gulla, who immigrated from Catanzaro, Italy, in the 1950s and built a respected business that has thrived for more than 60 years. She has overseen operations since 1992 and also works closely with the dealership's related business, Alfa Romeo of Larchmont. A proud New Yorker born and raised in Westchester County and now living in Manhattan, Gulla spent time working in real estate after college before returning to the automotive business — a move she says was "in her DNA."
"Being named Chairwoman is an incredible honor. This industry has given so much to my family and others, and faces extraordinary challenges. I'm deeply committed to supporting our members, advocating for our shared interests, and building on the legacy my father started," said Gulla.
Throughout her career, Gulla has been recognized for excellence in customer service and dealership operations. Under her leadership, Larchmont Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM has received numerous customer satisfaction commendations for exceptional sales and service experiences, including the JD Power Customer First Award for Excellence every year since 2019.
Recently, she joined hundreds of fellow dealers at the NADA Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., where she met with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Representative Grace Meng, Representative Nicole Malliotakis, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Transportation staff, along with House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, to discuss key federal issues impacting the retail automotive industry.
"Eleanor represents the next generation of automotive leadership," said Mark Schienberg, President of GNYADA. "Her dedication to our industry, her thoughtful advocacy on complex issues, and her commitment to customer service make her an outstanding choice to guide the Association forward."
As one of a growing number of women in automotive retail leadership, Gulla is vocal about the importance of representation and mentorship. "This has long been a male-dominated industry, but women have proven that we have an important role in its future success," she says. "I'm so proud to be part of this exclusive group."
Beyond her professional achievements, Gulla is a passionate supporter of charitable causes. She contributes to several organizations, including the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Orpheus, reflecting her deep commitment to community, mentorship, and the arts.
