BOWLING GREEN, KY, January 23, 2025; As part of its regular rotation of at-large Board of Director positions, the National Corvette Museum is proud to welcome Amy Masica, Chevrolet Director of Marketing, as a passionate advocate for Corvette innovation and the legacy of America’s Sports Car.

I’m honored to join the National Corvette Museum Board of Directors,” said Masica. “Corvette is not just a car—it’s a culture, a community, and a symbol of innovation. I’m excited to contribute to its legacy and collaborate with this incredible team to inspire Corvette enthusiasts worldwide.”

Kaye Wagner, Chair of the National Corvette Museum Board of Directors, expressed enthusiasm for the road ahead with Masica. “We are thrilled to welcome Amy Masica, whose energy and dedication to the Corvette legacy will fit perfectly with our mission and drive,” Wagner said.

Masica will step in for Harlan Charles, Corvette Product Marketing Manager, whose influence and vision have left an indelible mark on the National Corvette Museum and the Corvette community.

"Harlan’s impact on the National Corvette Museum and the Corvette brand is truly unparalleled,” Wagner said. “From pioneering personalized ownership experiences to orchestrating historic displays and connecting enthusiasts through groundbreaking programs, his accomplishments have elevated the Museum to new heights.”

This Board transition reflects the spirit of continuous innovation that defines the Corvette legacy. Just as Corvette has evolved over its storied history, so too does the National Corvette Museum evolve to inspire future generations of enthusiasts and preserve its history.

While no longer serving on the Board, Harlan will continue to be a key presence at Corvette events, always ready to answer questions or give tips on the best drive. Harlan joined the National Corvette Museum Board in 2005, and his two-decade tenure has been marked by a remarkable series of accomplishments that strengthened the Museum’s offerings and deepened its connection with Corvette enthusiasts worldwide, including:

  • Promoting Corvette’s History: Harlan championed the historic display of engineering vehicles, sourced low-VIN cars for Museum raffles, and published annual sales and spec data exclusive to the Museum.

  • Enhancing the Corvette Ownership Experience: Harlan spearheaded National Corvette Museum delivery initiatives such as combining the buyers tour with engine build experiences and introducing personalized interior plaques for Corvette owners.

  • Special Cars and Celebrations: Harlan played a pivotal role in creating unique Corvettes for the Museum’s raffle programs, including the 1.5M Anniversary and Hall of Fame cars in partnership with GM Design’s Kirk Bennion, and brought the National Corvette Museum Michelin BASH into prominence as the introduction event for several new model years, including the 2010 Corvette Grand Sport.

  • Innovative Experiences: Harlan elevated the Museum’s role as a concierge for engine builds, connected Oliver Gavin with Museum in Motion European trips, and orchestrated the Corvette Quarterly ride auction story.

  • Architect of Memorable Events: Harlan provided new model introduction tickets for Museum members, coordinated board meetings at Daytona, and contributed to design elements in Museum renovations.
