Car and Driver Announces 2025 10Best Awards for Best Cars, Best Trucks and SUVs

ANN ARBOR, MI (December 3, 2024) – Car and Driver, the world’s largest automotive media brand, today unveiled its annual “10Best” lists for 2025, recognizing the 10Best Cars and the 10Best Trucks and SUVs on the market under $110,000 that fulfill their mission while delivering incredible value and a great driving experience. The 2025 10Best lists are available on the Car and Driver website now, and the full package will be published in the January/February 2025 issue, available everywhere by December 24.
“10Best has been Car and Driver’s signature award for more than 40 years,” said Car and Driver Editor-in-Chief Tony Quiroga. “It’s as significant to the industry as it is to shoppers but isn’t just a snapshot of what’s new this year. Previous winners have the chance to return to defend their spot on the list, meaning 10Best is really about the being the best of what’s for sale, period.”
To compete, vehicles must be on sale in the month of January 2024 and have a starting price (including any federal tax and destination charges) under $110,000. After two weeks of driving more than 90 new cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs that meet those criteria, the editors assign each vehicle a score of zero to 100. The votes are tallied and averaged to arrive at the 10Best of 2025.

The 10Best nominees consist of all-new vehicles, 2024 10Best winners, vehicles that were not available for the 2024 competition, and those with significant updates. All must fall under the base-price cap of $110,000 and be on sale no later than January 31, 2025.
