My day job is with the local school district in their bus garage and came across an opportunity to actually test this. I went for all the marbles and decided to go above their claims of jump starting a car and attempted to start one of our buses that the driver was ever so kind to leave the lights on. Seeing how its designed for smaller applications, I honestly wasn’t expecting much. Trying to start a class C bus with a 6.7 cummins diesel isn’t exactly an easy task. It usually requires the use of our not so light, not so portable, colossus of a jump box. I approached the not so responsive bus, slide the batteries out, and hooked this little guy up. Turned the JS1 on and got the green light that it was ready to go. I walk over to start the bus, expecting the sleeping giant not to wake up, only to be astonished that this little guy actually cranked over and started the bus!
The proof is in the pudding, and this product speaks for itself. I can honestly say that the JS1 Jump Box performed well beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this product. Its convenient, compact, and packs a punch. It would be a great addition to any garage or vehicle.
