After yesterday,s announcement from the White House that Chinese automakers now face 100 percent tariffs on Chines EVs that are imported into the U.S., those same automakers are pivoting.

According to reports, China's auto companies will now direct their attention on the global automotive markets; excluding the U.S. This means the new battleground for EV supremacy will be markets other than the U.S. and China. For its part, China's automakers will likely seek to build plants in those regional locations and establish a distribution and sales infrastructure there.

This still could have an impact on everything from pricing and availability of EV cars in and beyond the U.S.
