The 2024 edition of the show runs from February 10 to 19. With Valentine’s Day on the 14th and Presidents’ Day on the 19th there’s good reason to spend a few days in Chicago. The city’s fashion shopping, gastronomic delights to suit many a taste as well as budget, multiple museums and forecasted mild weather for mid-February stack up to a good time for all.
Concept vehicles on display include the Ford Bronco Wildland, Ford F-150 Lightning Switchgear, GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser and the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner. Making their debut are 25 new production vehicles. Lucid, Rivian and Tesla will be exhibiting for the first time.
If you’re curious to learn more about electrified vehicles, be it pure battery electric (BEV) or hybrid gas-electric (HEV) or Plug-in gas-electric (PHEV) you’ll have a chance to see them all. The Chicago Drives Electric test track will let you directly experience how a BEV drives.
Here’s a brief pictorial of what there is to see.
